Baylee Hough

Born and raised in Chandler, Arizona, Baylee Hough has been an active member of the Arizona music community. When Baylee was first introduced to the piano at eight years old, it was love at first sight. Ten years later, and her passion and musical involvement has grown exponentially. Since then, Baylee has participated in her high school’s jazz band, marching band, and indoor drumline.

As a member of these highly competitive ensembles, she has played bells, vibraphone, and synthesizer. From her drumline experience, Baylee has also gained an interest for writing front ensemble arrangements, one piece even being used as a warm up for her pit. Besides drumline pieces, Baylee has also been trying her hand at film scoring, working to improve her skill set beyond traditional notation. To continue her music education, Baylee will be attending Arizona State University in the Fall to pursue a Digital Culture with a music concentration major- an innovative degree that will encompass both computer and audio engineering.
